WHOA!

Okay wow um...I can't believe that my last post was on Dec 16th, that went by fast!

Anyway, Happy New Year to everyone who reads my blog. Also I hope everyone had a nice holiday season as well. I can't believe that 2011 is now pretty much over. I remember like it was just yesterday when I graduated high school back in June 2008. Crazy!

By the way, for my next blog post, I think I might post up another review, but I'm not sure just yet. You'll just have to find out I suppose, mauahahaha!

See you guys later!

Status Update

I am only going to be posting a new blog entry every once in a while from now on. I have just been so busy with work and other things in my personal life. So I just wanted to let anyone who reads this blog know what the deal is. :)

The Terror of 2007

Today I will talk about the terrible year of 2007 that me and my family had endured.
There are a number of factors involved in what caused our pain and misery:

1. My uncle died at the age of 59. He had lung cancer and was expected to have only a few years left to live, but he ended up dying about a month later after the doctors had told him the news. It was very devastating to say the least.

2. My mom was put on disability and had to quit her job and now she can no longer work anymore. This fact leads into the next one:

3. We had to file for bankruptcy because my mom couldn't work anymore, and my parents weren't making enough money to keep our house. That is one of the things I regret the most in my life, because that house we lost was my favorite one; it had a basement and we had a large TV with an entertainment setup for the ultimate viewing experience. Ever since we lost that house, we never had that same TV setup again.

4. My step-dad Bob had two heart attacks, but thankfully he is still alive today. He was only about 50 years old at that time.

But even after all this stuff, we made it and we are still moving forward. Ever since that year, we never had another year like it, thankfully. And I hope we never do again.

Work n Shit

So as promised, today's post is about the place I work at, Giant Food Inc.

I've been working there for 2 and a half years now, since July 1, 2009. I am a courtesy clerk and so I push the shopping carts outside. It is sometimes crazy work, but it pays quite a bit. I earn about $270 a week, but then the rent and other bullshit comes into the picture.

I'm not sure when I will get another job, but for now, I'm okay being at Giant.

Disturbed Rules!

As I have stated in a previous blog post of mine, Disturbed is my favorite band. They have been ever since May 2005 (which is, ironically enough, the same month in which I declared myself an anime fan).
Disturbed's music means a lot to me, because several songs they recorded make me feel like a stronger person, and a few songs I can even relate to.

My favorites from the band include - "Breathe", "The Infection", "Mine", "Run", "Inside the Fire", "The Game", "Intoxication", "Ten Thousand Fists", "I'm Alive", "Sickened", "Stupify", "Shout 2000", and of course, "Down with the Sickness". But all in all, I pretty much like all of their songs. Just some more than others. I even like "Darkness", which is the most different song Disturbed ever made.

I must say that my favorite album for quite a while was their latest studio release, "Asylum", which was their 5th record. But now I have chosen "The Sickness", their first record, as my all-time favorite. This change was made because I realized that this is the album that actually made me get into metal and rock music, and helped me escape the other types of music I was into at that time, which included pop and rap shit. This band as helped me through a lot in life, and they will continue to do so.

I was really sad and hurt when the band decided to go on an indefinate hiatus after their South America tour was over, which happened in late August of this year. I really hope they come back someday, and kick some more ass!

Gaming Life

Alright so basically, I am going to talk about video games today. My favorite game as of now is "Resistance 3" for the PS3. It is a fantastic game with awesome weapons and in-depth mutliplayer. If you have a PS3 and love first-person shooters, you should buy this shitz.

Ps3, by the way, is my favorite system as well. In second place would go to the Nintendo 64, since it was pretty much my first system. Games for that system that I love include - "Super Mario 64", "Star Fox 64", "Banjo-Kazooie", "Banjo-Tooie", "Mario Kart", "Pokemon Puzzle League", and "Mario Party".

I am not as much of a game maniac as I once was, but that doesn't mean my skills have slipped or anything. I can still put up a good fight for anyone out there, epecially in Resistance 3's multiplayer mode. By the way, my nametag on the PS3 is "bluedragon90".

Well, that is pretty much it for today. I will be posting a new blog entry every day from now on, until I finally decide to stop that method and do only a few every once in a while (which won't be anytime soon, since I have plenty to talk about).

For the second part of this post, I want to talk about my history of anime. I first got into it literally when I was only about 8 years old, back in the year 1998. I watched the series 'Pokemon' and I didn't know it was an anime at that time. Back then, I just assumed that all cartoons I saw on television were made in the United States, and of course being at that age, I didn't really care to have an explanation on what the shows that I were watching were supposed to be.

With that being said, the next series I remember fully watching and enjoying was 'Dragon Ball Z', which I first discovered in 2002. I was hooked to that series quite quickly, as with 'Pokemon' too. In May 2005 was when I officially declared myself an actual anime fan, and knew what anime actually was. I don't remember how I felt when I first realized that 'Pokemon' and 'DBZ' were anime shows, but I suppose it doesn't really matter now.

The first anime series that I bought from Ebay that I knew was an actual anime was called 'The World of Narue', which I still enjoy to this day. From May of 2005 to this very day, I have been watching a countless number of anime shows and I will always enjoy them, no matter what. My favorite by the way is indeed "DBZ', with 'School Rumble' right behind it.

Day Two

Well...it is time for my second post. Not much has changed in one day, but I have plenty of other things I can talk about.

First off, I have a YouTube account, it is "TimDisturbed". I have uploaded a total of 4 video so far, and I plan on making more, possibly. I mostly make videos that involve my favorite music band, Disturbed. I take some of their songs and either make them backwards, or change the song's pitch.

I had a bunch of other videos on my account at one point, but I closed my account previously, and so they are completely gone now. My most successful video I ever uploaded was the song 'Down with the Sickness" by Disturbed, with its pitch changed. I regret having that video terminated and I wish I could reupload it, but hey, what can you do?

Anyway, that is it for today!

Welcome to my blog!

Hello, this is the blog of the almighty Tim Rex. Read this page at your own risk.

...Just kidding, haha. It isn't so bad...or is it?

Well, you can't really know for sure right now, but I assure you, once you are done reading this sentence, you will find your answer...under your bed, MUAHAHAHA!

Okay, enough with this funny ass bullshitz. I decided to make this blog simply for my own pleasure, nothing more and nothing less. I will update my blog with a new post every once in a while, basically whenever I feel like it.

Until next time I speak my words, take care...in Hell, MUAHAHAHAHA!
